Amazon Web Services Infrastructure Services is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our global engineering team. This role is critical as AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. Our team ensures that the cloud remains operational, supporting all AWS data centers and the essential servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that our customers depend on. We tackle complex challenges with numerous variables affecting the supply chain, and we are looking for talented individuals who are eager to contribute to our mission. As part of a diverse team that includes software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers, you will collaborate across AWS to uphold the highest standards of safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. In this role, you will leverage your hands-on electrical design experience to create resilient and cost-effective electrical distribution systems. You will be responsible for taking designs from concept through to the permit and construction document set, defining critical equipment specifications, and approving equipment submittals. Your work will directly support construction efforts, and you will be involved from site selection reviews through commissioning and turnover.
