About the position

The Senior Electrical Engineer position at LHB focuses on overseeing electrical engineering design for various projects within the Energy & Industry business unit. The role involves project management, design calculations, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. The position is hybrid, allowing for both in-office and remote work, and requires a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with significant experience in electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical engineering design for industrial electrical power distribution projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with PE oversight.
• Review and interpret NEC/NESC standards, perform design calculations, and select equipment.
• Collaborate with teams of engineers, project managers, and drafting technicians.
• Conduct field verifications and organize field data for design applications.
• Produce high-quality professional documentation following LHB quality processes.
• Adhere to safe working practices in the office and field.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).

Nice-to-haves

• Design experience in Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, Solar & Energy Solutions, Substation, or Mining & Heavy Manufacturing.
