As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Olsson, you will be an integral part of our Facilities Engineering and Design team, focusing on the healthcare sector. This role is designed for an experienced professional who is passionate about creating innovative solutions that enhance the functionality and design of healthcare environments. You will provide high-level technical support and lead quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities, ensuring that our designs meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your expertise will allow you to independently make recommendations and decisions that drive excellence in healthcare facilities design. In this position, you will lead the design and review of electrical systems for complex healthcare facilities projects. As a technical specialist, you will apply advanced electrical engineering concepts to address the unique challenges presented by healthcare environments. Your responsibilities will include performing QA/QC to ensure that electrical designs meet project objectives and regulatory standards, conducting research to inform innovative design solutions, and advising staff on electrical design approaches to meet project requirements and client expectations. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs. You will also contribute to the development of standards and guidelines for electrical engineering activities within the team. Mentoring and supervising less experienced staff will be part of your duties, providing guidance on technical assignments and supporting their career development.
