Farnsworth Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer - Healthcare to join their team in Colorado Springs or Denver, CO. This role involves multi-project responsibilities for electrical design, including power distribution, lighting, and telecommunications specifically for the healthcare market. Responsibilities

• Assume multi-project responsibilities for full Electrical design, including Power distribution, Lighting, and Telecommunications for the healthcare market.
• Conduct code research and application.
• Perform fieldwork to ascertain existing conditions.
• Develop preliminary schematics through final designs.
• Carry out calculations and equipment specification, sizing, and layout.
• Coordinate with other production staff.
• Prepare accurate Electrical system construction drawings and specifications.
• Review submittals and manage construction administration.
• Oversee project management for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing disciplines.
• Interface with other disciplines, clients, and contractors while maintaining project design budgets and schedules.
• Mentor engineers, designers, and drafters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
• 10+ years of professional experience in electrical design
• PE preferred but not required
• Design experience relative to medium/large commercial, healthcare and institutional facilities
• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, BlueBeam and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously.
