About the position

The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in providing high-quality engineering services for various projects within a higher educational organization in Hanover, NH. This position focuses on collaborating with Project Managers and FO&M shops to enhance system upgrades, energy efficiency projects, and technical oversight of external consultant designs, all while adhering to a commitment to net zero goals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers on in-house design and renovation projects.
• Work with FO&M shops on system upgrades, improvements, and replacements.
• Assist with design and analysis of energy efficiency projects.
• Provide review and technical oversight of projects designed by outside consultants.
• Conduct design reviews and field investigations.
• Assess existing systems and perform electrical, lighting, and lighting control system design and layout.
• Select and specify equipment for projects.
• Draft technical documents and perform code reviews.
• Conduct calculations including spreadsheet analyses and use of engineering software.
• Write control system sequences of operation and provide construction administration and commissioning services.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer at a top Engineering Consulting Firm.
• Demonstrated commitment to a net zero goal and experience in Geo Thermal Engineering.
• Registered Professional Electrical Engineer in New Hampshire, or the ability to become registered in New Hampshire within one year.
