About the position

The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead projects within the Industrial Manufacturing Solution team, focusing on electrical power distribution and plant electrical systems. This role involves managing project schedules, budgets, and staffing while providing technical guidance and support for various manufacturing sectors. The engineer will also engage in business development and client consultations, ensuring high standards in project execution and fostering strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects including management of project schedules, budgets, and staffing on the Industrial Manufacturing Solution team.
  • Provide technical guidance on client standards and expectations to engineering and technician staff supporting project detailed design.
  • Serve as a technical expert in electrical power distribution and miscellaneous plant electrical systems for client consultations.
  • Lead the design of facility power distribution and process electrical distribution in a manufacturing or industrial processing environment.
  • Support business development, including proposal scope approach and estimating related to enhanced Electrical services.
  • Build business relationships with clients to understand needs and drivers.
  • Conduct construction inspection and resolve electrical construction issues.
  • Coordinate with local electrical utilities on project technical needs.
  • Review supplier submittals.
  • Act as a liaison between the design team, client, and remote design teams for Instrumentation and Control design.
  • Oversee startup and testing of major electrical equipment.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development of technical expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program.
  • Minimum of 8 years related work experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and leadership abilities.
  • Judgment and confidence to work independently with clients and colleagues.
