As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Anduril Industries, you will play a crucial role in the full cycle of PCB design, which includes collecting requirements, schematic design, component selection, and overseeing or completing layout, bring-up, testing, debugging, and integration with the system. You will be responsible for the development of air vehicle avionics systems, which encompass flight controls, sensors, payload interfaces, power management, and networking. Your expertise will be essential in creating system interconnect diagrams and defining wire harnesses that connect electronic equipment within the vehicle. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will provide support and work closely with other air vehicle subsystem development teams to ensure all components function seamlessly together. You will also conduct vendor surveys and evaluations to support sourcing for avionics system components, ensuring that the best materials and technologies are utilized. Your responsibilities will include conducting peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews, as well as building up and testing avionics system components through lab, ground, and flight tests. Additionally, you will engage in low-level firmware development for bring-up and testing, and perform root cause analysis to support field operations.
