About the position

We are seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to join our Professional Design Services team, with the flexibility to work in a hybrid model or remotely. The role requires a candidate with over 5 years of microgrid experience, including design and contract administration, and a PE license. The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers in managing and designing energy resiliency and microgrid projects, contributing to sustainable building practices and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers for energy resiliency and microgrid projects.
• Manage the design and contract administration of microgrid systems.
• Oversee project execution including on-site power generation and storage solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality project delivery.
• Stay updated on sustainable building practices and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in microgrid design.
• Familiarity with building design, construction, and commissioning processes.
• Basic understanding of certification processes for sustainable building rating systems like LEED and Net Zero Energy.
• Proficient with software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and SKM Powertools or equivalent.
• PE License is required.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.

Nice-to-haves
