About The Position
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license to take on a managerial role within our engineering consulting firm. This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in electrical systems design and project management. The ideal candidate will have 8-10+ years of experience in the field, specifically within engineering consulting, building services, or design/build firms. The successful candidate will lead a team of electrical design engineers, managing multiple concurrent projects while ensuring technical and financial success. This role also involves collaborating closely with the Principal to guide the Electrical Group, fostering a culture of excellence and client satisfaction. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of electrical systems for a variety of projects, including commercial, institutional, higher education, state and federal projects, transportation hubs, stadiums, sports and entertainment venues, museums, and healthcare facilities. The candidate must possess strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and be adept at problem-solving, providing multiple solutions to clients, and effectively communicating the benefits and drawbacks of each option. Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD software is essential, as is the ability to prepare and deliver technical reports directly to clients, including C-suite stakeholders. In addition to technical expertise, the role requires excellent client-facing skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The candidate should be familiar with computational analysis tools for electrical fault analysis and lighting design. While LEED AP accreditation is desired, it is not a requirement for this position.
