About the position

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and management of power distribution and generation systems at the site. This role involves ensuring the reliability and improvement of industrial electrical power systems, while also focusing on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design and development of electrical power systems.
• Oversee systems integration for power distribution and generation.
• Manage projects related to electrical systems.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Provide maintenance and reliability support for electrical systems.
• Ensure safety and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Document and report on electrical system performance and improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the electrical engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with power distribution and generation systems (low, medium, and high voltage).
• Knowledge of codes and standards (IEC, NEC, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with design software such as CAD.
• Background in manufacturing, chemicals, oil & gas, or utilities.
