We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to help lead electrical design teams and produce quality designs. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will perform detailed electrical power systems design for water and wastewater treatment facilities with minimum supervision. This role involves performing load calculations, detailed conduit routing, motor control center and switchgear design, and specification generation. You will be expected to leverage your expertise to ensure that the designs meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency, while also adhering to relevant codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed electrical power systems design for water and wastewater treatment facilities with minimum supervision
  • Perform load calculations, detailed conduit routing, motor control center and switchgear design, and specification generation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 10-15 years experience working in Electrical Engineering
  • PE registration required
  • Familiarity with power system applications, including calculation of available short circuit current, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, and power factor
  • Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA 820 and NESC
  • Familiarity with the IEEE color book series
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
  • Ability to interact positively with clients
