About the position
The Senior Electrical Engineer - Substation will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of substations. This role requires a strong understanding of substation design, protection and control, and electrical engineering, with a focus on ensuring the smooth operation of substation systems.
Responsibilities
- Designing substation layouts and electrical systems
- Installing and testing substation equipment
- Maintaining substation equipment
- Troubleshooting substation problems
- Working with other engineers and technicians to ensure the smooth operation of the substation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- 7+ years of experience working in a substation environment
- Strong understanding of substation design, protection and control, and electrical engineering
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
