About the position

The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in the design and construction of utility-scale solar projects. This position involves collaborating with large solar developers and EPCs throughout the entire lifecycle of solar plants, from preconstruction to interconnection with the grid and eventual decommissioning after 30 years. The engineer will focus on building and designing Meteorological Stations (MET Stations) and providing essential services to ensure the successful operation of solar energy systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop MET Stations for solar projects.
• Collaborate with solar developers and EPCs during the preconstruction phase.
• Oversee the interconnection of solar plants with the grid.
• Manage the lifecycle of solar plants, including end-of-life considerations.
• Provide technical support and services throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in solar energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of solar plant design and interconnection processes.
• Experience with MET Station design and implementation.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with project management in solar energy.
• Familiarity with renewable energy regulations and standards.
