About the position

The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting both laboratory and field operations for a reputable manufacturer. This position involves developing test plans, conducting testing and troubleshooting, analyzing results, and preparing technical documentation in accordance with the company's Quality Assurance (QA) program. The role requires a blend of design, research, and field service testing at various power plants.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new equipment and technology for testing plant electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanic systems
• Perform research and development to produce new equipment and technology
• Travel 6 to 12 times per year for an average of 4 days per trip to perform field service testing at national and international power plants
• Perform data analysis and write technical reports

Requirements

• 5+ years' work experience directly related to electrical engineering, electronics engineering, software engineering, and/or I&C system engineering
• A Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
