As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Philips, you will play a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge Sleep Diagnostic and Therapy solutions. These solutions are designed to empower patients to rediscover their dreams and regain the freedom to live fulfilling lives by restoring their ability to sleep comfortably. Your responsibilities will include leading the discovery, adaptation, and integration of both new and existing technologies, as well as creating innovative, reliable, and high-quality new product designs. In this role, you will successfully interact with key members of the Software and Mechanical Engineering teams, providing your technical expertise in the development and design of various electrical systems. This includes analog sensor conditioning circuits, microprocessor systems, programmable and discrete digital logic, power supply circuitry, and electrical/electronic interfacing systems. A general understanding of embedded software functionality will also be beneficial. You will be tasked with designing, analyzing, and testing circuits and overall systems to ensure they meet project requirements, regulatory safety standards, EMC requirements, quality benchmarks, and internal hazard requirements. Conducting design reviews and collaborating with peer engineers, procurement, manufacturing, marketing, sustaining teams, contract manufacturers, vendors, and other technology leaders will be essential to achieving project and product objectives related to safety, performance, manufacturability, reliability, cost, quality, and time to market. Your active participation in periodic review meetings will involve presenting ideas, concepts, feasibility units, results, and project status updates. Continuous personal and organizational growth through knowledge acquisition and sharing will be encouraged, as will the development of advanced technical judgment and decision-making skills to create concepts, components, and systems that lead to new product development projects.
