At Arup, we use the latest design technologies and analytic methods to deliver projects that make a real impact. Sustainability, carbon reduction, and resilience are at the core of what we do. We are looking for a skilled Senior Engineer who can take the lead to aid designs for a wide range of projects including healthcare, laboratories, data centers, commercial, and rail, and provide leadership for the project teams and client goals. In this role, you will lead the design of electrical systems for medium to large-scale, complex projects in sectors such as healthcare, laboratories, data centers, commercial, and rail, ensuring technical excellence and the achievement of broader sustainability and resilience goals. Collaboration with project managers will be essential to ensure successful delivery within budget and on schedule, while also having the opportunity to manage projects independently as needed. You will communicate technical information clearly and effectively to clients and stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, helping them understand the design's impact on the overall project goals. Furthermore, you will supervise and mentor junior and mid-level staff, providing leadership in both technical and professional development areas, encouraging continuous learning and growth, and providing timely feedback and recognition to team members.
