The Senior Electrical Engineer position at IMEG Corp. is designed for an experienced professional who will provide high-level leadership, mentoring, and training to less experienced staff. This role encompasses various aspects including technical guidance, project management, marketing, and business development. The successful candidate will be expected to make significant design recommendations and decisions with minimal input from senior staff, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively. In this role, the Senior Electrical Engineer will plan design work by discipline for projects of all sizes, assigning duties to staff members involved in these projects. A critical part of the job involves reviewing correspondence prepared by junior staff and actively participating in the quality control processes of projects. The engineer will contribute to leadership within the Technical Operations Team, playing a vital role in both large and small projects. They will act as an advisor, analyzing technical problems and writing reports, while also participating in project reviews to ensure quality control, particularly for large and complex projects. The position also offers a Project Management Path, where the engineer will serve as a Project Manager on large complex projects or multiple smaller projects. Responsibilities include identifying prospective clients, assisting in marketing efforts to develop new client relationships, and preparing proposals for services. The engineer will be instrumental in bringing work into the firm, participating in client presentations, and performing other duties as assigned by the employer. To succeed in this role, the candidate must demonstrate mastery of the technical aspects of electrical engineering, possess strong leadership traits, and have the ability to mentor and motivate others. Clear communication skills, both oral and written, are essential for effectively conveying information to individuals or groups. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 8 years of qualifying experience, along with a Professional Engineer license.
