About the position

TMC is the world leader in precision floor vibration isolation technology, serving a diverse range of clients including major research centers, OEM and end-user semiconductor manufacturers, university research laboratories, drug discovery companies, and nanotechnology labs. We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our New Product Development (NPD) team. This role is pivotal as it focuses on the conceptualization, design, simulation, documentation, prototyping, and manufacturing of new active vibration control and magnetic field cancellation components and systems. The successful candidate will also be responsible for diagnosing and remedying issues with existing products, improving current offerings, leading cost-cutting initiatives, justifying new projects to internal stakeholders, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. As a key member of the NPD team, the Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design and development of robust electric systems from the initial requirements definition through to integration and testing. This position requires executing technically challenging and time-sensitive projects in a demanding and fast-paced environment. Collaboration with Software, Firmware, Controls, and Mechanical engineers is essential to develop cost-effective solutions. The engineer will also be tasked with developing and executing performance verification activities, including unit tests, integration tests, and debugging, while providing technical expertise in the company's electrical systems to support both staff and customers. Active participation in product design reviews and managing third-party resources will also be part of the role, along with providing ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements to existing systems and platforms.
