About the position
The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead a team of Electrical, Instrument/Control Systems Engineers, Designers, and Drafters in support of projects within the Petrochemical, Refinery, and Midstream sectors. This role involves evaluating resources for project execution, coordinating with various disciplines to ensure alignment with project plans and budgets, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead Electrical, Instrument/Control Systems Engineers, Designers, and Drafters in project execution.
- Evaluate resources required for project execution.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure alignment with project plans and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, specifications, standards, and technical guidance related to the E&I Department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Hands-on experience with SKM or ETAP software.
- 5+ years of experience in oil & gas and/or chemical plant environments.
- Experience leading Electrical/Instrumentation/Control Systems projects.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
- PE License in the state of Louisiana.
