About the position

Join Ultra Maritime as a Senior Electrical Engineer, where you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge technology that safeguards the seas for the world's navies. In this role, you will contribute to new product development and maintain existing products through electrical design. You will collaborate closely with Mechanical Designers to ensure effective packaging during the feasibility stage and provide essential electrical design constraints. Your expertise will be crucial in recommending and implementing changes to existing products, producing detailed drawings from sketches and electronic images, and verifying power and heat budgets for designs. As part of a dynamic team, you will design parts based on both written and verbal descriptions, work closely with Production during initial builds, and make recommendations to Mechanical Engineers to enhance product performance. Your role will also involve system integration, actively supporting qualification testing, and ensuring that all designs meet the necessary specifications. This position requires a strong electrical aptitude and the ability to produce original design solutions, as well as proficiency in using schematic capture tools and running simulations to evaluate designs. At Ultra Maritime, we pride ourselves on our collaborative approach, working alongside our customers to ensure mission success. As the maritime and underwater battlespace evolves, your contributions will help us push the boundaries of technology and provide our 'five-eyes' Defence customers with an unbeatable warfighting edge. Join us in shaping the future of naval warfare!
