About the position

The Senior Electrical Engineer will support the organization by utilizing Electrical Engineering experience in developing power supply projects, substation and distribution design and construction, electrical design, instrumentation, wiring devices, control system implementation, motors/drives, and troubleshooting for wellhead pumping facilities, midstream gas facilities, liquids pipelines facilities, and substations.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, commission and troubleshoot electrical and automation facilities.
• Perform power system modeling and calculations using SKM software, ETAP, or equivalent.
• Conduct relay coordination and programming for GE Multilin and SEL relays.
• Investigate and analyze complex technical issues, applying engineering principles to determine solutions.
• Interpret applicable codes and regulations, ensuring compliance with National Electric Code, API, NFPA, IEEE, and OSHA.
• Support field installations, developing plans for equipment commissioning and maintenance.
• Prepare project scope, cost estimates, and engineering economics, interfacing with clients.
• Contribute as a team member or leader, working on complex problems autonomously.
• Utilize project management tools for tracking and scheduling tasks.
• Communicate technical vision and solutions to customers and management.
• Negotiate and resolve disputes with tact and diplomacy.
• Identify and champion continuous improvement opportunities for clients.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineer preferred or ability to obtain.
• 6-8 years of applicable experience in electrical engineering.
• Ability to work with multiple engineering disciplines and operational groups.
• Self-motivated with the ability to set and achieve goals with minimal supervision.
• Solid documentation and organization skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
