About the position

TSC is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL, with a specialized focus on the testing of RF & Microwave systems. This role is critical in developing and executing test infrastructure, scripts, and test cases for both hardware and software products, utilizing standard test automation frameworks and tools. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in rapid new product development and will be adept at navigating the complexities of product development and deployment. This includes managing changing requirements, understanding hardware and software integration dependencies, conducting field testing, and overseeing configuration management. The Senior Electrical Test Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing testing approaches that cater to a diverse product line, which may feature varying levels of maturity. The position demands a flexible individual who can support the defining, developing, and execution of integration, product, and regression test plans. The engineer will engage in all phases of product testing, from lab prototyping and verification & validation (V&V) to qualification and transition to manufacturing. Hands-on lab testing of integrated electrical hardware and software systems will be a significant part of the role, requiring collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team both locally and across different physical locations. The engineer will work closely with systems, hardware, mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to build comprehensive solutions and products.

Responsibilities

• Support the defining, developing, and execution of integration, product, and regression test plans.
• Support all phases of product test from lab prototyping, V&V, Qualification, through transition to manufacturing.
• Conduct hands-on lab testing of integrated electrical hardware and software systems.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team locally and across physical locations.
• Work within a multi-discipline team of systems, hardware, mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to build complete solutions and products.

Requirements
