About The Position

The Sr. Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the conceptual design, analysis, development, and testing of complex control systems used in defense applications. This role requires a high degree of creativity and foresight to solve unprecedented engineering problems while leading a team of engineers in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in electrical design, or a Master of Science Degree in Engineering with 8+ years of experience in electrical design.
• Experience in designing PCBs.
• Proficiency in circuit design, analysis, and testing.
• Specialization in power electronics.

Responsibilities

• Perform conceptual design, analysis, development, and testing of complex control systems for defense applications.
• Lead a team of creative and independent individuals.
• Foster a collaborative atmosphere that encourages teamwork.
• Consult with customers and sales personnel to contribute to new product development.
• Prepare successful proposal designs and concepts, including cost and schedule estimates.
• Validate conceptual problem solutions through trade studies and analyses.
• Create reliable designs through comprehensive experimental development test programs.
• Document designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and concise reports.
• Assist in interviewing and mentoring junior engineers.
