About the position

The Sr. Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the conceptual design, analysis, development, and testing of complex control systems for defense applications. This role requires a high degree of creativity and foresight to solve unprecedented engineering problems while leading a team of independent individuals in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of creative, independent individuals.
• Foster a collaborative and knowledgeable atmosphere.
• Contribute to the development of new products by consulting with customers and sales personnel.
• Consult on new product and market development efforts.
• Prepare successful proposal designs and concepts, along with cost and schedule estimates.
• Validate conceptual problem solutions through trade studies and analyses.
• Create reliable designs through a comprehensive experimental development test program.
• Document designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and concise reports.
• Assist in interviewing and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in electrical design OR Master of Science Degree in Engineering with 8+ years of experience in electrical design.
• Experience in designing PCBs.
• Proficient in circuit design, analysis, and testing.
• Specialization in power electronics.
