About the position

We are seeking a seasoned Email and Mobile Marketing Manager with a passion for innovation and a talent for mastering multiple omnichannel Email and Mobile marketing strategies. This role is crucial in driving our iconic brand's narrative, closely tied to our reputation as a beloved employer. As part of a collaborative team that rocks the shoe world, you will be responsible for all aspects of the email and mobile messaging programs, ensuring alignment with the overall CRM and integrated marketing strategy. In this position, you will lead, plan, develop, and execute all aspects of the email and mobile marketing strategy, from calendar creation and creative brief development to the execution of campaigns. You will collaborate with internal and external teams for promotional and product planning, customer contact strategy/segmentation, and creative content/messaging that aligns with our overall marketing objectives. Continuous analysis of customer and campaign results will be essential to provide insights, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement. You will own and maintain relationships with email and mobile marketing platforms, as well as other vendor partnerships, to advance our email and mobile channel capabilities. Sharing campaign results and demonstrating subject matter knowledge will be part of your weekly routine, as you develop insights, answer questions, and pitch creative ideas to upper management. Additionally, you will analyze, develop, execute, and iterate channel contact, testing, and customer lifecycle program strategies to increase acquisition, retention, lifetime value, and consistent channel growth. You will also review current best practices, strategies, and industry standards related to A/B testing, list segmentation, deliverability, CAN-SPAM laws, and TCPA compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, plan, develop, and execute all aspects of email and mobile marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams for promotional and product planning.
  • Develop customer contact strategies including marketing programs for retention, acquisition, and reactivation.
  • Continuously analyze customer and campaign results to provide insights and identify trends.
  • Maintain relationships with email and mobile marketing platforms and vendor partnerships.
  • Share campaign results and develop insights for upper management.
  • Analyze and iterate channel contact, testing, and customer lifecycle program strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of CRM marketing experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience in a supervisory capacity leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with data-driven marketing and customer segmentation.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS, SQL, and Google Analytics preferred.
  • Knowledge of email service platforms and marketing automation (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Responsys).
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle various tasks simultaneously under multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with experience translating data into business and customer insights.
