About the position

The Senior Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for strategically planning, implementing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role focuses on driving engagement, retention, and revenue through high-impact email marketing efforts, including automation, list segmentation, and campaign optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B marketing and experience with various marketing technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Drive email content and day-to-day email marketing execution.
  • Design and implement Salesforce email marketing campaigns, marketing automation, and personalization strategies.
  • Establish campaigns to support various stages of the sales funnel, including prospecting, nurture, up-sell/cross-sell, and retention.
  • Build audiences and customer segmentation, deliver deep insights through data analysis and behavioral retargeting, and track email list quality and health.
  • Collaborate with the Content team to create and develop forms & landing pages to develop high-impact testing schedules and methodologies.
  • Provide clear, consistent, and frequent communication with stakeholders to outline strategy, tactics, goals, and performance of campaigns.
  • Determine behavior milestones/triggers for email campaigns.
  • Take a proactive approach to improving systems and software integrations by studying current practices and new trends to better lead generation efforts.
  • Understand existing tech stack to identify optimizations and evaluate the onboarding of new tools.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of building and growing email marketing and automation revenue.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in email marketing with a focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Audience Builder.
  • Subject matter expert on the implementation of data-driven dynamic and personalized content within email.
  • B2B or Lead generation and nurture experience working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, with ability to QA emails and format for mobile.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects when needed and have excellent attention to detail, project planning skills, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with analytical and database tools.
  • Can comfortably and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Understands best practices or industry-related compliance laws.
