About the position

The Senior Employee Communications Manager for Product Innovation & Customer Impact at Intuitive is responsible for crafting and implementing strategic internal communications programs that engage and inspire employees across global engineering teams. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, working closely with senior executives to develop impactful communications strategies that align with the company's mission of enhancing minimally invasive care. The ideal candidate will excel in storytelling and project management, ensuring effective communication across diverse employee groups.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement internal communications strategies that support engineering, commercial, and product support teams globally.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, gaining their trust to develop and execute communications plans.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage all aspects of communications projects, ensuring timely delivery and impactful outcomes.
• Craft compelling written, visual, and multimedia content, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
• Lead internal events, meetings, and presentations with meticulous planning and execution.
• Partner closely with teams across marketing, public affairs, and employer branding to ensure cohesive communication strategies.
• Continuously measure the effectiveness of communications strategies and refine approaches based on data-driven insights.

Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years in employee communications, executive communications, corporate communications, or related fields.
• Proven track record of developing and executing global communication strategies.
• Extensive experience working with executives to craft messaging and influence key decisions.
• Excellent project management ability to ensure strategies are executed with precision.
• Expert level written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills with keen attention to detail.
• Skilled at simplifying complex topics and navigating ambiguity.
• Bachelor's degree in communications, English, marketing, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
