About the position

As a Sr. Employee Relations Specialist at Pluralsight, you will leverage your experience and judgment to address complex People Operations inquiries. This role is pivotal in providing timely and knowledgeable support to team members and leaders globally, while collaborating with various stakeholders including Business Partners and Legal. You will be a key member of the People Business Partner team, reporting to the Sr. Director, People Business Partners, and will play a crucial role in advising on performance management practices and ensuring compliance with global employment regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Advise leaders on effective performance management practices, including career path conversations and performance improvement plans.
  • Provide values-aligned responses to non-routine People Ops inquiries, applying discretion to interpret and resolve ambiguous situations.
  • Audit probationary periods and provide guidance on process requirements.
  • Investigate grievance reports and collaborate with Legal/Compliance and HRBP teams for fair resolutions.
  • Stay updated on global employment regulations to ensure compliance with People practices.
  • Collaborate with People and Legal teams on policy and process design to meet emerging needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR management or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience, or 6+ years with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in Employee Relations or People Operations in a fast-paced, global organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of US, EMEA, and global HR laws and processes.
  • Proven track record of designing and improving procedures and programs.
  • Familiarity with Workday and Google Suite.
