About the position

The Senior Enablement Manager (SEM) at Harvard Business Publishing plays a crucial role in the Corporate Learning division, focusing on leadership development as a competitive advantage. This position involves partnering with senior leaders to ensure effective go-to-market strategies and equipping teams with the necessary tools to enhance client engagement. The SEM will leverage their expertise in learning initiatives to drive change and improve team performance, while also being recognized as a thought leader within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage deep business acumen and knowledge of learning to lead business conversations with colleagues.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Product Management to ensure cohesive and effective go-to-market plans.
  • Enable client-facing teams on new processes in Corporate Learning.
  • Ensure teams stay updated on product enhancements, critical issues, and communications.
  • Create clarity to move strategies and projects forward amidst ambiguity.
  • Deliver exceptional value to internal clients in a team environment.
  • Design and execute functional onboarding for new employees in client-facing roles.
  • Develop learning programs and enablement for CL CET members to extend HBP's market reach.
  • Measure the effectiveness of learning solutions and identify critical capability gaps.
  • Design and execute training for client-facing teams on new offerings from CL.
  • Support financial objectives by recommending budget items and controlling costs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years designing and delivering learning development programs.
  • 7+ years delivering consulting and professional services for complex learning solutions or working in a learning and development organization.
  • Broad-based knowledge of Learning and Development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills combined with collaboration and team leadership abilities.
  • Innovative, flexible, and client-focused approach to consulting.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with a sense of urgency to achieve results.
  • Ability to measure and articulate key outcomes that impact the business.
  • Comfortable and effective in a consultative selling environment.
