About the position

The Senior Endpoint Management Security Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the security of Windows-based endpoints within the organization. This role involves identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, responding to security incidents, and maintaining compliance with security policies. The engineer will work closely with IT and security teams to protect organizational data and systems from cybersecurity threats.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage security solutions for Windows-based endpoints using MDM Microsoft Intune.
• Monitor and analyze security alerts from endpoint protection systems and respond to potential threats.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents involving Windows endpoints, coordinating with IT and security teams.
• Ensure that all Windows endpoints are regularly updated with the latest security patches and firmware updates.
• Package MSI/exe, Intune win32apps, and deploy applications via Intune.
• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures for endpoint security.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses of Windows endpoints.
• Provide training and support to Level-2 Technicians on security tools and physical endpoints.
• Maintain detailed documentation of security configurations, incident responses, and compliance activities.
• Collaborate with other IT and security teams to ensure a cohesive approach to organizational security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in endpoint security within a Windows environment.
• Relevant certifications such as M356 Endpoint Administrator, Tanium TCA or TCPEM.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems and endpoint protection platforms (Defender).
• Experience with MDM (Microsoft Intune), Service Now, Tanium, Defender, Azure, and CyberArk EPM.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Advanced to Expert level PowerShell scripting skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience with advanced threat protection solutions and endpoint detection.
• Knowledge of BASH and Python.
