About the position

The Senior Engineer - Cloud & Infra Management role focuses on building and managing high-performance clusters, ensuring efficient cluster buildout and maintenance activities. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with Windows servers, and involves coordinating with various teams to resolve deployment blockers and improve processes. The engineer will also be responsible for monitoring cluster progress and performing tenant buildouts as per requests.

Responsibilities

• Build/manage high performance clusters and monitor automating cluster buildout workflow/tasks/reports.
• Perform Windows server administration at L2-L3 level.
• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot Windows server-related issues.
• Carry out cluster maintenance activities including node diagnostics and recovery.
• Monitor target clusters during buildout progress and collaborate with component/vendor teams to resolve deployment issues.
• Perform tenant buildout as per request queue.
• Coordinate and execute end-to-end buildout workflow.
• Triage, investigate, and drive mitigation for buildout blockers using incident management processes.
• Analyze customer impact and suggest process changes and improvements.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex Windows Server issues.
• Understand basic network concepts such as LAN, VLAN, Switch, Router, TCP/IP.
• Utilize knowledge of AD, DHCP, DNS, Hyper-V, and PXE boot.
• Drive daily reviews with customers and document processes through SOPs and TSGs.

Requirements

• Experience in building and managing high-performance clusters.
• L2-L3 level Windows server administration experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows server issues.
• Experience in cluster maintenance activities.
• Ability to monitor buildout progress and collaborate with teams to resolve issues.
• Good logical skills and experience in log analysis.
• Experience in coordinating with internal and external teams during critical situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Azure back-end infrastructure support.
• Understanding of data center infrastructure and operations.
• Experience with SQL reporting, Kusto, and PowerBI.
• Knowledge of deployment processes.
