About the position

The Senior Engineer Consultant at Verizon is responsible for leveraging cutting-edge PEGA concepts to engineer customer journeys and develop new systems. This role involves leading multiple projects, managing deadlines, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance. The consultant will work closely with data and project managers to understand systems and consult with clients to meet business needs, while delivering scalable solutions in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand and utilize cutting-edge concepts and capabilities of PEGA to engineer customer journeys.
• Develop and implement new systems while ensuring optimum performance.
• Lead multiple projects and manage deadlines, troubleshooting to resolve issues effectively.
• Collaborate with data and project managers to understand systems and consult with clients on business needs.
• Manage systems in a heterogeneous environment to deliver scalable and performant solutions for seamless customer experience.
• Coordinate requirements and product deliverables between the offshore team and business SMEs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in the job offered or as a software developer/engineer, programmer analyst, or computer systems engineer.
• 4 years of experience with software application development and implementing Pega platforms, including case management implementation.
• Experience using Pega PRPC architecture, security model, and service interfaces, REST and SOAP-based web services.
• Pega CLSA or CSSA certification (Certified Lead System Architect or Certified Senior System Architect).
