About The Position
The Wedge Bond Business Unit of Kulicke & Soffa, located in Santa Ana, CA, is the leader in wire and ribbon bonding for power semiconductors, automotive power modules and industrial power hybrids. K&S wedge bonders ultrasonically bond round aluminum or copper wires or ribbon to a variety of devices. Our bonders are created to cater to industries in need of smaller, thinner, and denser semiconductor packages. We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to work with hands-on development of Software to control advanced semiconductor machines. The ideal candidate shall have interest in working with a variety of Software functional areas, including real-time systems, motion control subsystems, image capturing and processing, network communications, database access and management, desktop applications, as well as a desire to build state of the art equipment for the semiconductor industry.
