About the position
As a Senior Software Test Engineer in the Marcom Group, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will leverage your expertise in Manual & Automation Testing. Additionally, you will coordinate onsite testing activities, mentor junior team members, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium for UI Test Automation.
- Develop, maintain, and execute API automated test scripts using Rest Assured framework.
- Write SQL queries and work with Mongo DB for database testing.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for onsite testing activities, coordinating with stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior test engineers.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
- Generate detailed test reports, track defects, and provide actionable insights.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation using Selenium.
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Azure DevOps, API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured), and scripting languages (Java).
- Proven experience in mentoring and leading junior team members, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
