About the position

The Senior Engineer in Industrial Engineering focuses on leveraging AI, ML, and analytics to enhance supply chain systems and processes. This role involves driving improvements, designing AI-based models, and developing analytics tools to meet both short and long-term operational objectives. The engineer will lead workshops, manage projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of solutions that align with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive various Supply chain systems and process improvement.
• Design and develop AI-based models to solve business problems in supply chain.
• Design and build analytics tools to help supply chain and operations short and long term objectives.
• Conduct proof of concept and proof of technology.
• Lead workshops to drive testing, requirement gathering, and solution discussions.
• Help and guide cross-functional teams in planning activities like factory builds and order promising.
• Perform trade-off analysis on different levers in Supply Chain.
• Collaborate with business partners to document business requirements and processes.
• Analyze business requirements to create use cases and testing documentation.
• Translate functional requirements into solutions and manage scope and estimated deliverables.
• Project management responsibility for all deliverables in all stages including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration.
• Understand existing business processes and technology to develop the 'to be' and align to create measurable business ROI.
• Drive test planning for functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify gaps in current solutions and project manage the implementation of these gaps with IT.
• Carry out data and system analysis to identify technical debt/gaps and develop to-be architecture for scalability and flexibility.
• Drive new solutions that can be implemented cross-functionally.
• Develop key metrics around business impact and user acceptance.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations, or MBA in Supply Chain.
• Understanding and implementation of supply chain planning systems and processes.
• 1-3 years of work experience in Supply Chain, Operations, and Project Management.
• Good knowledge of AI/ML and experience in creating models based on AI/ML.
