About The Position
At Sephora, we are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead the operationalization of AI/ML initiatives across our enterprise. This role is pivotal in transforming our standard business procedures through data-driven strategies that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction. As part of our technology team, you will be at the forefront of deploying innovative algorithms and optimizing existing machine learning systems to maximize their value. Your contributions will directly impact how we inspire our customers in the beauty space, redefining their experiences with our brand. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering projects that operationalize AI/ML models, acting as a center of excellence to drive the adoption of machine learning and artificial intelligence across various autonomous, domain-specific engineering pods. You will build, maintain, and improve a suite of AI/ML systems, implementing end-to-end solutions for both real-time and batch algorithms. This includes developing tooling for monitoring, logging, automated testing, performance testing, and A/B testing, ensuring seamless integration with existing enterprise systems and customer-facing digital platforms. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to deliver efficient and well-organized software in an iterative, continuous-release environment. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences will be essential in fostering understanding and collaboration across teams.
