About the position

The Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering position is a contract role focused on integrating operations into new systems and standards. The engineer will conduct QMS GAP assessments, develop remediation plans, and document current processes. This role also involves creating risk documentation, validating equipment and processes, and supporting machinery relocation between sites. The engineer will ensure a successful product transfer to a new site, including equipment moves and validations, as well as managing site closure protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QMS GAP assessments and develop remediation plans.
• Document current processes into company procedures.
• Create risk documentation and pFMEA.
• Develop equipment and process validation protocols and execute them.
• Create and deploy preventative maintenance procedures and cadence.
• Support the physical relocation of machinery between sites.
• Assess single points of failure and the need for backup parts.
• Support successful product transfer to new site with equipment moves and validations.
• Manage site closure protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in manufacturing engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of QMS and regulatory standards.
• Experience with risk management and pFMEA documentation.
• Ability to create and execute validation protocols.
• Experience in preventative maintenance procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with machinery relocation and site closure processes.
• Familiarity with equipment validation in a manufacturing environment.
