About the position

The Senior Engineer at BlueHalo will provide technical support and subject matter expertise in missile defense for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Advanced Architecture Warfighter/International Integration office. This role involves collaborating with a team to deliver analytical missile defense products and support regional and international defense initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily missile defense system (MDS) expertise to MDA/CAI leadership.
• Develop and present analytical missile defense products for technical exchanges, special studies, wargames, and exercises.
• Support missile defense planning, analyses, and systems engineering for international acquisition programs.
• Collaborate with government and contractor personnel across MDA locations and with international partners.
• Provide adaptive technical support to meet the evolving demands of the missile defense community.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field.
• 12+ years of experience in engineering for missile defense-related programs.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• Strong ability to develop clear, concise, and accurate written products.
• Ability to present missile defense technical information logically to senior leaders.

Nice-to-haves

• Thorough understanding of the Missile Defense System (MDS) enterprise across the Department of Defense.
• Familiarity with DoD processes for requirements generation, modeling and simulation, testing, and lifecycle sustainment of missile defense systems.
• Ability to plan, execute, and manage daily work with minimal supervision.
