As a Senior Engineer in Product Applications at Analog Devices, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in advising automotive strategic partners on an innovative portfolio of serializer/deserializer (SERDES) solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and understand customer needs and opportunities, propose system solutions, and support design-in activities. You will collaborate closely with partner System-on-Chip (SoC) and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) system architects to develop serial link solutions that ensure high-bandwidth data connectivity for cameras, displays, and data converters. In this role, you will implement SERDES technology in conjunction with design and applications teams, creating comprehensive design documentation and debugging system design and component-level failures. You will also be responsible for performing SERDES level debugging and addressing related component issues. A significant part of your work will involve writing and debugging C/C++ code for systems software integration, as well as developing SoC/FPGA integration with SERDES IP blocks. You will be expected to communicate and present technical topics effectively to both internal teams and external partners. The position offers a partial telecommute benefit, allowing for two days of work from home each week.
