About the position

As a Senior Manager at Apple, you will be at the forefront of driving the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies across the organization. This role is pivotal in defining and executing a vision that leverages innovative solutions to meet the needs of internal customers. You will lead a team of Data and ML Solution Architects, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. Your leadership will not only guide the technical direction of AI/ML solutions but also ensure that these solutions align with the strategic goals of the business. In this position, you will engage closely with various internal stakeholders to understand their specific requirements related to AI and ML. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop tailored solutions that address unique business challenges. Your role will also encompass driving the adoption of AI/ML methodologies throughout the organization, which includes developing change management strategies and training programs to facilitate successful implementation. Performance management will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, where you will define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of AI/ML initiatives. You will monitor performance data, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision to ensure that Apple remains a leader in AI and ML technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Data and ML Solution Architects, providing guidance and support.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design and implementation of AI/ML solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs related to AI/ML.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored AI/ML solutions.
• Drive the adoption of AI/ML technologies across the organization.
• Develop and implement strategies for change management, training, and communication.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of AI/ML initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze performance data, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in a leadership role managing teams with data and ML expertise.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders.
• Experience working with distributed data processing.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
