About the position

The Senior Engineering Program Manager at Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) will lead a multi-discipline team of scientists and engineers, focusing on managing and growing projects related to operational planning and functional defeat of hard targets, underground facilities, and WMD facilities. This role involves tracking government requirements, developing R&D programs, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and managing project budgets. The position also includes business development responsibilities and staff supervision, emphasizing technical excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the team and project, ensuring high-quality project execution.
• Oversee a team of engineers and scientists focused on operational planning and functional defeat of hard targets and WMD facilities.
• Track and elucidate requirements from government customers for R&D programs.
• Develop and manage project budgets, including forecasting and tracking deliverables.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for the government on all project matters.
• Identify and track R&D requirements and ensure adherence to ARA's quality plan.
• Develop and implement group marketing plans to achieve a growth goal of 15%.
