The Senior Engineering Project Manager - Civil and Structural position is a critical role within Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed, primarily focused on managing large-scale capital projects with budgets exceeding $25 million. This position is remote but requires frequent travel to Bryan, Texas, to oversee a significant greenfield project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the desired performance criteria while adhering to the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards. The role involves developing project safety systems and procedures in collaboration with EHS experts to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards, aiming for zero accidents throughout the project lifecycle. As a Senior Project Manager, you will plan, organize, and direct the completion of specific projects for CertainTeed Roofing, ensuring that all project tasks align with company policies and procedures, including the Project Execution Manual and Capex Manual. You will lead a cohesive project team, coordinating efforts across various departments such as Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to achieve project goals. Additionally, you will liaise with internal stakeholders, including project sponsors and the Project Management Office Manager, to report on project progress and address any concerns that may arise. Externally, you will manage relationships with suppliers and contractors, negotiating quotes and ensuring that project execution meets expectations. You will also represent the company in permitting and incentive processes with local authorities, manage conflicts among project parties, and coordinate the recruitment of the local project team in collaboration with HR and Talent Acquisition. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to influence and engage with diverse teams effectively.
