About the position

The PACE Senior Engineering Project Manager (EPM) at Apple plays a crucial role in ensuring that products meet and exceed international Product Safety, Environmental, EMC, and Regulatory standards. This position involves leading cross-functional teams, managing engineering issues, and driving alignment across various teams to uphold the highest standards of product integrity. The EPM will regularly engage with senior leadership to communicate updates and facilitate decision-making in a fast-paced product development environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and track Product Safety, Environmental, EMC, and Regulatory standards and regulations impacting Apple's business.
  • Develop, refine, and uphold project schedules for the internal regulatory tracker.
  • Oversee issue and priority management among EPMs to drive data-driven decisions affecting product integrity.
  • Communicate and deliver briefings to senior engineering management and executives for rapid decision-making.
  • Work closely with cross-functional engineering and operations teams to ensure compliance with required standards and regulations.
  • Manage project management tools and systems to ensure established processes are followed.
  • Innovate in EPM process improvements to ensure high levels of project execution.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in program/project management with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in project management tools and schedule development/management.
  • Strong technical intuition and understanding of basic engineering concepts.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and harness teamwork.
  • Highly effective communicator with sharp interpersonal skills.
  • Sound executive presence and ability to communicate at senior leadership levels.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Nice-to-haves

  • M.S. or PhD in Engineering or Technical degree.
  • Experience in international and/or regional Product Safety, Environmental, EMC, and Regulatory standards/regulations.
