About the position

Corbin Consulting is seeking a Project Manager for its Beaverton office to oversee engineering projects from scoping to completion. The role involves managing a multi-discipline project team, ensuring quality control of design documents, and providing exceptional customer support. The Project Manager will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver engineering solutions in the technology and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Scoping new engineering projects and writing proposals for clients including architects, contractors, or owners.
  • Providing regular project updates and coordination with the internal management team.
  • Coordinating quality control reviews of multi-discipline design documents and conducting periodic reviews directly.
  • Managing an engineering team to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets, including assembling project task lists and schedules.
  • Leading project contractual and design discussions with clients regarding engineering issues, budget, schedule, and staffing.
  • Attending client meetings as a representative of the firm.

Requirements

  • Understanding of general engineering fundamentals and construction.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player.
  • Solid technical writing skills with experience in developing and documenting processes for an engineering team.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to comprehend customer feedback with consistent follow-through.
  • Ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and thorough with experience in quality control review of documents.
  • Dedication and commitment to results-oriented work.
  • Ability to learn quickly and grasp new concepts related to engineering and construction.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Project management certification.
  • Experience with MS Project, Quickbase, AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks.
