About the position

The Senior Enterprise Data Architect at COOK SYSTEM is responsible for overseeing the architecture of data systems from both application and data perspectives. This role involves making strategic decisions regarding the current and future state of the company's data architecture, ensuring alignment with business needs and technological advancements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data modeling and architecture, particularly in NoSQL and cloud environments, and will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to implement effective data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Make architectural decisions regarding the current and future state of data systems.
• Collaborate with Business, Domain, and Solution architects on various initiatives.
• Create, maintain, and optimize conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Translate business requirements into data models that support long-term microservices architecture solutions.
• Analyze data flow challenges across platform component architecture and propose solutions.
• Perform code reviews to enhance performance of data systems.

Requirements

• Over ten years of experience in data modeling principles and methods across relational, NoSQL, and event technologies.
• Strong understanding of Data Architecture concepts at an Enterprise level.
• Experience with NoSQL and cloud platforms (GCP or Azure).
• Ability to present Data Architecture concepts at an Enterprise level.
• Experience in capacity planning for Oracle/NoSQL databases.
