About the position

The Senior Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Consultant plays a crucial role in Cambia's ERM Program, which is dedicated to enhancing decision-making and prioritization processes to effectively manage risks across the organization. This position involves assessing and monitoring various risk categories and levels, ensuring that Cambia's leadership is supported in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the company's strategic objectives and values. The role is designed for individuals who are passionate about serving others and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance, recommendations, and support regarding measure selection, definition, targets, scorecard development, and alignment of departmental objectives.
  • Develop and deliver training job aids and tutorials on risk assessment methods and systems for Cambia Health Solutions' leadership and employees.
  • Draft presentations for senior leadership and the board of directors, assisting the Assistant Director as needed in their delivery.
  • Develop and maintain the ERM framework of policies and operating procedures.
  • Interview business leaders to inform them of the ERM mission and solicit their input on business line risk issues, including estimates of severity and potential remediation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in risk management, audit, compliance, or a related discipline.
  • 6-8 years of experience in enterprise risk management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with governance, risk management, and compliance software is preferred.
  • Proven ability to influence and drive outcomes using sound judgment and creative solutions.
  • Demonstrated competency with enterprise risk management concepts, identification, and mitigation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with all levels of the organization, including the C-suite.
  • Ability to partner with other assurance functions to assess organizational strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
  • Critical thinking skills to analyze issues and risks, conduct root cause analyses, and determine the effectiveness of remediation plans.

Nice-to-haves
