About the position
The Senior Environmental Project Manager at EnSafe will oversee various environmental projects, focusing on project management, client communication, and collaboration with senior leadership. This role emphasizes creativity, support, and professional growth within a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Responsibilities
- Project management, including proposal writing, budget tracking, and client communications
- Collaborate with senior leadership to advance local, regional, and corporate goals
- Prepare documents under state and federal programs, including the CT Property Transfer Program
- Prepare and review technical reports and work plans
- Review, compile, and interpret investigation data, evaluations of potential responses/corrective actions, and feasibility studies
- Mentor mid and junior-level staff
- Assist with regional business development/proposal efforts
Requirements
- BS in engineering, geology, or appropriate technical discipline
- Demonstrable leadership experience (e.g. office, teams, large projects)
- CT LEP; or CT LEP Track and PE or PG
- Knowledge of CT RSRs, CERCLA, RCRA, NYSDEC DER-10, and other environmental legislation
- Ability to participate and collaborate in a project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought
- Strong consulting, problem-solving and leadership skills
- State, municipal, and federal contracts/project management
- Experience conducting work within the NE regional states
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite, word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication
