About the position

The Senior Equity Research Associate will be responsible for conducting in-depth fundamental equity research to identify investment opportunities for a prestigious Boston asset management firm. This role involves analyzing business fundamentals, modeling financial statements, and generating investment ideas across various sectors and countries.

Responsibilities

• Research business fundamentals and competitive positioning
• Model company financial statements and future forecasts
• Develop global expertise
• Research various sectors and develop recommendations
• Generate new investment ideas
• Write research reports
• Converse with company management
• Work closely with portfolio management teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of experience
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
• Demonstrated interest in conducting in-depth company research
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
