Senior ETL Developer (AVP) - Hybrid

About the position

ISG Data Solutions is looking for a Senior ETL Developer (Applications Development Sr Programmer Analyst - C12) with experience in designing and delivering ETL solutions to join our Reference Data Team. This is an intermediate level position focused on expanding and maintaining the centralized reference data platform. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with global application development teams, Operations teams/partners to successfully integrate.
• Manage deliverables, provide architectural guidance, enforce best Citi practices, conduct code reviews, build support processes, and serve as escalation point during production outages.
• Keep up to date with new technologies and their possible adoption within ISG.
• Streamline processes and work closely with other team members, onsite and remote to ensure consistent approach to development/process is used within the application.
• Coordinate and manage key projects with vendor teams.
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes.
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts.
• Operate with a limited level of direct supervision and exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
• Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
• Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge and experience of managing reference data systems.
• Knowledge of Securities and Events data.
• Proven proficiency in dealing with complex technical issues across all aspects of the project lifecycle.
• Strong command of ETL architecture and Tools (Abinitio and Talend), and working with relational databases.
• Experience of working in a demanding and results driven, time critical environment.
• Experience in AbiInitio GDE and Co>Op (Continuous, Batch, Plans), Data Stage, Spark, UNIX/Linux Shell scripting, Oracle concepts, QL, PL/SQL, SQL performance tuning, and Autosys.
