About the position

The Senior ETL Developer at 9th Way Insignia will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). This position involves developing, implementing, and optimizing ETL processes while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure effective data integration and reporting. The role requires strong technical skills in data warehousing and business intelligence, particularly using Informatica, and involves overseeing complex engineering tasks related to data management and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support a data warehouse for analytics and reporting.
• Optimize ETL processes in collaboration with Business Analysts and internal customers.
• Design, code, and implement complex programs and scripts for data integration.
• Review and implement project plans and business rules via stored procedures and middleware.
• Perform data modeling design, analysis, and implementation for data warehousing and business intelligence.
• Install, configure, and maintain BI applications.
• Develop ETL processes using Informatica for data extraction and loading.
• Design schemas using KPIs, Fact, Dimensions, and other tables.
• Build business models and establish relationships between tables.
• Create LDAP authentication for single-sign-on capabilities.
• Provide recommendations and identify critical issues in data modeling and ETL processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 6 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.
• 10+ years of experience with ETL tools, especially Informatica.
• 10+ years of experience developing and tuning complex SQL queries in Oracle databases.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
